Getting started - organisation, facilities & users

With an invitation link to the RR platform, you can start building your organisation and the facilities under it. You can obtain this link from a brand you work with or by contacting support@reverseresources.net.

NB. Please make sure that your organisation is not already registered on the platform by confirming with your colleagues.

• First, register your email address and accept the platform’s Terms and Conditions. Please use your official work email address, as each user must have their own personal account.

  Instructions on how to invite additional users to your organisation are explained below.

• Once you have registered your user account, you will receive an email with a link to confirm your email address and log in to the platform.

• If you are the first user in your organisation, you are automatically assigned the Organisation Manager role.

  To get started, click the ORGANISATION tab in the left-hand menu. Enter the name of your organisation (parent company or group), then click SAVE.

• You can now invite additional users to the Organisation Manager role by clicking +ADD USER.

  Organisation Managers can view and monitor activities across all facilities registered under the organisation.

  RR provides each user with an individual login account. To ensure data accuracy and security, users must not share login credentials.

ADD FACILITIES AND USERS

As an organisation manager, you can create facilities/factories/units under your organisation. Each facility should be registered in the system separately if: 

• The facility has a separate physical location (e.g. located in a different industrial plant from other facilities)
• The (manufacturing) facility is running production that is significantly different from other facilities (e.g., a fabric mill should be registered as a separate entity from an apparel production facility)

• The (manufacturing) facility has a separate waste management warehouse from other facilities (e.g. if in one industrial park, there are two separate waste warehouses for knit and woven waste, separate facilities should be registered for knits and wovens)

  
  
• Click on the FACILITIES icon on the left to start adding facilities/factories/units underneath your organisation. 

• To add a facility, start by clicking on + ADD FACILITY. Add as many as necessary.

  
  

• Complete the facility information and click SAVE. Once the information is saved, you can proceed directly to completing the facility profile.

  Each facility’s waste profile must be completed separately.

  From the facility profile, you can add and invite users to the Facility Manager role. Please note that Facility Managers only have access to the information for the specific facility to which they are invited.

• Users can always be edited and added from the USERS tab on the left.
