Getting started - organisation, facilities & users

With an invitation link to the RR platform, you'll be able to start building up the organisation and facilities under it. Get the link from a brand you are working with or contact support@reverseresources.net.

NB. Please make sure that your organisation is not already registered on the platform.

• First, you can register your email address and sign the Terms and Conditions of the platform. Please use your official email. Each user should have a personal account in the system. How to invite more users to the organisation is explained below.

• Once you have registered a user account, you will receive an email in your mailbox that takes you further to confirm your email and log in to the platform. 

• If you are the first user of your organisation, you are automatically considered as the organisation manager in the eyes of RR. Start by clicking the ORGANISATION tab on the left. There, write down the name of the organisation/parent company/group. Click SAVE.

• Now you will be able to start inviting new users to the organisation manager role by clicking the + ADD USER button. They will be able to see and monitor activities across all facilities that will be registered under this organisation.

  RR will provide a login account for each person individually. No users of the platform should share a common login account to avoid wrong data entry and enable data security.

ADD FACILITIES AND USERS

As an organisation manager, you can create facilities/factories/units under your organisation. Each facility should be registered in the system separately if: 

• The facility has a separate physical location (e.g. located in a different industrial plant from other facilities)
• The facility is running production that is significantly different from other facilities (e.g. fabric mill should be registered as a separate entity from an apparel production facility)
• The facility has a separate waste management warehouse from other facilities (e.g. if in one industrial park, there are two separate waste warehouses for knit and woven waste, separate facilities should be registered for knits and wovens)
• Click on the FACILITIES icon on the left to start adding facilities/factories/units underneath your organisation. 
• To add a facility, start by clicking on + ADD FACILITY. Add as many as necessary.

• You have to fill up the facility/factory information and click SAVE. After saving the information you can move directly to filling out the facility profile. Fill up the waste profile of each facility separately.

  From the profile, users can be added and invited to the facility manager role. The facility manager will only be able to access the information of that particular facility he/she has been invited to.

• Users can always be edited and added from the USERS tab on the left.
