Your participation in our network means a lot to us. You help Reverse Resources to offer the best service for the fashion industry to help closing the loop of waste getting recycled back to textiles. Our intention is to co-develop our services closely together with you, so any input and suggestions how to improve the quality further is highly welcome.

We have identified 5 ways how we can collaborate. The main interest of the RR Network always to prioritise traceability of waste end-to-end. It means that we always prioritise such transactions where both the source of the waste and the end destination of it can be clearly identified and confirmed (options 1-3). The recyclers who benefit from traceability of waste and the exact background information of the source of the waste are those who are able to offer longer multiple lifecycles to the textile fibre. The turn it back into high-quality yarns with a chance to reach recycling another 2-3 times at least, which is our real goal - enable continuous circulation of the resources and reduce the environmental burden of fashion industry.

However, majority of such high-end recyclers are only buying light colours of 100% cotton or cotton-rich waste, a small share of total volumes of textile waste. Majority of waste types have no better solution than down-cycling it for other industries. Such recyclers do not need to know much about the source of the waste, traceability would be seen as extra cost. On the other end, majority of factories are not yet segregating their waste and the shift in mindset takes time. This is why we are very open also to include options 4 and 5 in the list of possible ways how to collaborate.
