Adding brands to your profile: why it matters and what brands can see (Manufacturer)
When completing your manufacturer profile, you’ll be asked the following question:
“Who are your major customers/buyers, and what average percentage of your production goes to them over a year?”

We understand that answering this may feel sensitive, especially if you are bound by confidentiality agreements or consider this business-critical information. To reassure you: the information you enter here is only visible to users within your own facility and to Reverse Resources administrators. It is not visible to other manufacturers, brands, handlers, or recyclers on the platform.

Why is this information needed?
Adding brands to your profile plays an important role in how the platform works. The brands you list here determine:
- Which brands appear in your waste inventory
- Which brand names can be assigned to the waste you register
This is essential for enabling waste traceability across the supply chain.

What do brands see?
Once a brand is added to your profile:
- That brand will be able to see only the waste data registered under its own name
- They will also see the handlers and recyclers you work with for their waste on the platform
This helps brands understand where their production waste goes and supports making better connections and circularity outcomes.
If you add multiple brands to your profile, each brand only has access to its own data. They will not see information related to other brands you may be working with.
Below, you can see which information is visible to brands.
